Oh Please. Stop The Drama Honey!
April 15th 2008 12:30
I'm blogging and blog-hopping after a long weekend of being away from any internet connection (and a decent cup of espresso based drinks).
Husband is doing maintenance work on the car.
My son's watching his dad working with his tools by the front door. He turns and slipped out of balance, and slowly fell to the floor -- and I mean Sssslllloooowwwllllyyy...
He cries and yelps, "I can't walk! I can't walk!"
I pretend I don't hear him, husband doesn't really hear him either, nor do any of the people in the house.
He makes his crying louder and again says, "I can't walk! I can't I can't!."
All the while I'm watching him on my peripheral and seeing his eyes are wandering elsewhere while he's crying and saying he can't walk. His eyes were dry, only his loud wailing of " I can't walk."
Everyone ignores him for another minute and realizes no one will actually hurry to him concerned. Yes, he's the boy who cried .... well, the boy who kept crying.
He looked around slowly, still with bits of whimpering then stood up as if nothing happened. Went straight to the room where he was previously watching Thomas and His Friends -- as if nothing happened.
Yet a while ago according to him, He can't walk..
Oh Please honey, stop the drama!
